First District Health Flu Clinic
FDHU recommends that everyone 6 months and older should have a flu shot yearly. All First District clinics offer a specific flu vaccine for people 65 & older. First District offers vaccine services to everyone, regardless of income or insurance.
COVID vaccinations are available for everyone 65 and over. Pneumonia, shingles, tetanus, and RSV vaccinations are also available at the clinic for those who meet the criteria.
To get in and out as quickly as possible, bring your insurance, Medicare, or Medicaid card, and wear short sleeves.
Portal’s Annual Fish Fry
Delicious Alaskan Halibut, Louisiana Shrimp, North Dakota Walleye, served with all of the fixin’s. Door prizes, DJ, fun with friends! Free will offering will benefit local charities.
2nd Anniversary Bash- Christmas in July
Join Rosie to celebrate the 2nd Anniversary of Rosie’s Cantina.
From 1 PM until 3 PM there will be special fun for kids with a Bouncy House, Games, Prizes and Ice Cream.
From 3 PM until closing the adult fun kicks in with a street party and DJ, burgers and brats, door prizes and a surprise performer at 8 PM.

MDU Representative Available at City Hall
A representative from Montana-Dakota Utilities will be at the city office from 9:30 AM until 5:30 PM on Tuesday, April 29th and Wednesday, April 30th to answer any questions residents and business owners may have concerning the switch over of the city’s gas system this summer.
Those wishing gas service from MDU will need to fill out an application.
