Thanks for Another Successful Portal Fish Fry!
The Sjue Family and Rosie’s Cantina annual fish fry held in Portal on October 17th was a great success. Over 120 persons attended and enjoyed a seafood dinner consisting of Alaska halibut, sea bass, walleye, Gulf of Mexico shrimp and Louisiana gumbo.

His Majesty King Edward VIII and his American wife Duchess Wallis Simpson passed through Portal on two occasions as they traveled to visit the E.P. Ranch near Pekisko, Alberta.

Portal, North Dakota is the latest community to join the Little Free Library movement, placing a bright blue “Take a Book, Share a Book” box in City Park, next to the swing set.
